LA-based, Australian producer and vocalist KUČKA. Lowther’s list of achievements are endless - features and co-writes with Flume, SOPHIE, Vince Staples, A$AP Rocky, Cosmo’s Midnight, and more and lives shows globally supporting the likes of the xx, Mura Masa and Mount Kimbie, Lowther has firmly established herself as a standout female producer & vocalist and is now focusing on herself. Turning to writing for catharsis, KUČKA is working on new music with Vegyn, Baauer, Flume and Nosaj Thing and touring Australia for the first time since 2018 across the recently announced Laneway Festival 2020 alongside the likes of Earl Sweatshirt, The 1975, Charlie XCX and more.

KUČKA - Can You Hear Me Dreaming?

Can You Hear Me Dreaming? showcases what KUČKA does best: laser-cut electronic production and irresistible pop songwriting. The album indulges in fantasy, slipping out of the autobiographic writing of her previous releases, and into other people’s stories. Working collaboratively with her wife, Dillon Howl, the pair dreamt of alternate lives, scenarios, characters surviving, loving, crying parallel to us. Emotional voyeurism is the term Lowther coined herself to describe the act of watching the strangers who surround us, and projecting our stories onto them. A heartfelt Rear Window, if you will. She explores the far reaches of her “cartoon brain”, riffing on a personal moodboard of everything from surreal creatures and rainy cityscapes to tattoos and “cute-ugly” pottery.
